"And they all cried with one voice, saying: Yea, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us; and also, we know of their surety and truth, because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which has wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually."
Mosiah 5:2
The idea of having "no more disposition to do evil" is really cool. The idea that God can help us change who we are, inherently, so that we truly want to be good, and the best we can be, and we're no longer torn between what we want and what we know is good or right... that's what makes heaven possible for us, and gives us a chance at that perfection which God asks, but which is so far out of reach. We can't make it on our own, but with God's help to change our hearts, and the power of Christ's atonement, we can't fail unless we stop trying. ... Today, let's try. Let's work towards a better life and a better world, even if it is in tiny increments. :)
