"So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city."
Joshua 6:20
Taking the city of Jericho was impressive, and a reminder from God that he was with Joshua, and that he would fight Israel's battles.
I think that we can have similar miracles in our lives. Perhaps they aren't always this externally dramatic, but when the Lord helps us overcome our own bad habits or sins, that is equally miraculous.
Today, let's remember that if we do as the Lord asks, and counsel with him in all that we do, that the Lord will be with us, and fight our battles... he can help us do things and solve problems that we would just not have the capacity to do alone. Let's trust in him, today and always.
