I like the idea here that we have to go through death in order to get something better, and not just hang around living forever in this corrupt state where we can get sick and experience pain, etc. Resurrection gives us a perfect, immortal body without most of the pains and sorrows that we experience now... repentence is a bigger gift, for sure, but immortality is right up there. Another gift from God that we can be looking forward to.
