"And it came to pass as he went forth towards the judgment-seat to destroy Helaman, behold one of the servants of Helaman, having been out by night, and having obtained, through disguise, a knowledge of those plans which had been laid by this band to destroy Helaman—
And it came to pass that he met Kishkumen, and he gave unto him a sign; therefore Kishkumen made known unto him the object of his desire, desiring that he would conduct him to the judgment-seat that he might murder Helaman."
Helaman 2:6-7
I like these verses because it shows that the "good guys" were aware of secret combinations, and working to protect themselves against them. I think the good guys get characterized as ignorant and unaware of reality sometimes, when the truth is that trusting God and listening to his wisdom and inspiration actually help us face reality a lot better than if we didn't have that resource, and support. Today, let's work on being good, and wise, listening to and doing what God advises. He can help us even in the worst circumstances.
