"Nevertheless, Jacob, my firstborn in the wilderness, thou knowest the greatness of God; and he shall consecrate thine afflictions for thy gain."
2 Nephi 2:2
I really like the idea that afflictions count for us. Rather than considering them an enemy, we can look at them as beneficial. Not fun, by far, but valuable, necessary.
Today, let's try looking at affilictions through the lens of what we have learned, and work with God to be able to see the positives, and to trust him on the benefits of a life developed through adversity.
