"Wherefore, I would speak unto you that are of the church, that are the peaceable followers of Christ, and that have obtained a sufficient hope by which ye can enter into the rest of the Lord, from this time henceforth until ye shall rest with him in heaven."
Moroni 7:3
I like the idea of "sufficient hope" here. It reminds us that we often think in the wrong direction, expecting God to make everything perfect, when a lot of the time he is instead inspiring us with the hope, vision, and guidance to see the good around us, and to discern and find the light and joy in the dark and dreary waste. :) Instead of leaving us in a playpen with toys, he helps us to grow up and learn to find and even create the joy and hope around us and from within, *thereby* giving us the tools we need to be in tune with the spirit and feel God's love and peace that is always there to partake of.
Today, with God's help, let's continue to seek and learn hope, enabling us to find both internal and external peace and rest.
