"Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or theirs."
Jeremiah 44:28
This is a good reminder that God fulfils all of his words and promises, and who is always going to win if we have any contest of wills with him.
Today, let's trust God to keep his word, and let's examine God's word and work with God to figure out the reasons behind it and what God wants, because accepting his word and moving forward is going to work out much better for us than trying to go our own way, or contesting God's will in anything.
