I keep finding interesting verses about following the spirit... this one is cool because Mormon is compiling these plates with zero expectation that anyone will find them in his lifetime... actually hoping they won't or they are likely going to be destroyed, but he trusts God and he knows that he is doing it for a "wise purpose" even though he doesn't know exactly what that purpose is. God showed him and gave him hints about some of it, but he too had to take a lot of it on faith, trusting those whisperings of the spirit that helped him know how to act in preparation for things that were going to happen hundreds of years later.
Today, let's trust God and know that God can guide us and help us and that the things that we are asked to do have a wise purpose, even if we can't see it right now. God is weaving us all into a grand tapestry, and he knows where every thread is and how it needs to work within the whole picture. Let's listen to the whisperings of the Spirit and be part of his plan of happiness.
