Jeremiah 30:22
This is an idea that we hear several times in the scriptures, and I think it is really cool when God expresses that he basically just wants to have a relationship with us. It's kind of like the hen and the chicken analogy that he uses sometimes, for instance "...how oft would I have gathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings..." (3 Nephi 10:4). All of these things seem to be expressing how much God loves us, and wants to shelter and take care of us. Even though he allows us to resist his help, it saddens him when we walk away from him and make life harder for ourselves.
Today, let's willingly be God's people and accept the protection and help from our Father and God. :)
