Romans 8:26-28, 31

"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
. . .
What shall we then say to these things?  If God be for us, who can be against us?"
Romans 8:26-28, 31

I like this, a lot.  God helps our weaknesses.  Even when we don't even know what to say to him, the spirit translates for us... and the emotion and mental energy that we direct towards heaven becomes a prayer as well.  God knows what is in our hearts, our minds, our souls... and he hears and answers that too, even when we can't form the words.
I love the next part too... all things work together for our good.  That is an amazing assurance.  Like the hero in the story that leads a charmed life... that's us.  Sure, the hero always has setbacks... but something always keeps him (or her) afloat... he fights through huge obstacles, but you always know that he is going to succeed and come out okay... and happy, with the desired prize. :)
And the reason that the hero always come out ahead is the next verse... if God is for us, who can be against us?  Every villain in the freaking universe can try, and usually does try... to stop the hero... but the hero always always always wins.  Why?  Because somewhere, someone is on his side.  "Fate" ... or even some alien race, if you read science fiction... :)  but in our stories... *God* is on our side.  so, even if the alien race and 3 billion other mind-sucking mutants turn on us, we'll be okay.
And sometimes it feels like that, I know. :)  But seriously... God is stronger and cooler than anything that we come up against.  Nothing can compare.
