"And they shall also be crowned with blessings from above, yea, and with commandments not a few, and with revelations in their time—they that are faithful and diligent before me."
Doctrine and Covenants 59:4
Crowned with blessings seems awesome and like a reward to aspire to, but as we continue, being crowned with commandments and revelations make the idea a lot more complex. I think also amazingly cool, but in a different way. We have to realize that more commandments means more trust and more potential... kind of like sidequests, perhaps. A chance to do more good, and earn more skills on our way to wherever the Lord is leading us. And revelations are the hints along the way, that helps us know where to go next, and how to help, and glimpse the joy that is coming (and allow us to feel it along the way, even in the midst of trials).
Today, let's embrace all that God offers us, knowing that all of it works together for our good and the good of the people around us. God is leading us to hope and love and joy and eternal life in a place better than we could ever imagine in this life. Let's be faithful and diligent and do all the sidequests and read all the documentation, and get the most out of the wonderful lives that God has blessed us with. :) As we do, we'll be crowned with the glory of God that he wants all of us to have. :)
