"Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men."
2 Corinthians 8:21
I like this emphasis on honesty. With technological innovation speedrunning human mimicry, there is more and more capability for deception out there, and thus more and more importance for us to follow God's admonitions, and not be part of the problem. I don't think that means we can't participate in new technology, but it does mean that we shouldn't be using it to decieve. Let's make sure that we are doing as the verse says, and being honest with other people and with God. As we do, we'll be working with God to make things better, and become better ourselves. :)
