"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"
1 Corinthians 6:19
We're obviously not slaves, so this verse is about spiritual symbolism instead of the traditional, earthly idea of being owned. This is more like the relationship interpretation where you voluntarily give yourself to someone, and they do the same. It goes along with other gospel ideas of unity and working towards becoming a Zion people / a cooperative, perfect society. Today, let's be willing to belong to Christ spiritually and dedicate our lives to his gospel, which, after all, is about finding joy, love, and peace for not only ourselves, but everyone.
