"Ye were also in the beginning with the Father; that which is Spirit, even the Spirit of truth;
And truth is knowledge of things as they are, and as they were, and as they are to come;
And whatsoever is more or less than this is the spirit of that wicked one who was a liar from the beginning."
Doctrine and Covenants 93:23-25
This definition of truth is amazing, and it makes my working definition of truth seem pale and sickly. The real truth that is in God is so much more than the truth that we work with every day... and by this selection, it being less makes it at least partially a tool of satan, because we just can't know the real truth without God's help. We think that we're doing our best with limited information, but God can help us do better than that, if we work with him and listen to his guidance. Today, let's lean on the Lord and trust him to help us know more about everything, and grow closer to the real truth underlying our limited knowledge.
