"And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and become as a little child, and be baptized in my name, or ye can in nowise receive these things.

The repetition here is interesting, and if you notice, it says again even the first time, so it clearly isn't the first time it was said. It seems to be something that God wants us to understand, and is emphasizing. Today, let's think about these verses, even if we have pondered these ideas before. Let's recognize God's emphasis here and examine ourselves. Let's think about repentance, and becoming as a little child, and being baptized. Let's remember that these are ongoing efforts, not one time things... even baptism, because we renew those covenants each time we take the sacrament, and Alma asks us "Can ye feel so now?" (Alma 5:26), suggesting that even a mighty change of heart is something we need to maintain. :) Let's ponder, and pray, and talk to God about how we can do better in these obviously important areas.
