"And now as I said concerning faith--faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true."
Alma 32:21
Another good thing to remember. We often want that sure knowledge, but part of the challenge (and reward) of this life is learning to understand and trust our spiritual senses that lead us to God, and to make choices based on that spiritual information, even when we don't have sure knowledge. As we learn to hone those senses, we can learn more and more about God and be able to communicate with him more easily, and more confidently, but the first step is to act on our hope... to have faith to move forward even when we are uncertain. The value of that lesson is huge, and helps us to not be paralyzed by indecision and fear, but to trust in the light that we have, and know that God will give us more light as we step forward, working for his plan and for the good of all.
