Psalms 84:4 -- On Stillness and Praise

"Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah."
Psalms 84:4

I liked this because the "be still praising thee" part reminded me of "be still and know that I am God' ... it might not be meant as similar, but I think that there is a fair chance that it has multiple meanings here and part of the still ness is not just continuing, but rooting ourselves in the Lord, taking time for him, and focusing on him. And those blessings can come in the temple or during the second coming, or perhaps also in church when we are still and dedicated to praise and worship.

God helps us when we stop and focus and when we are in his house, so adding a layer on to those things makes it like a little whirlwind of blessings, helping us find peace but also helping us be the people that can do hard things and help God's kingdom go forward. Let's stand with the Lord and find that perfect stillness that can only be found in him.
