"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."
Galatians 6:7-8
An important thing to remember... what we get out of this life depends on what we put into it. Christ's atonement saves us when we repent, but even so it doesn't invent good actions to replace bad ones. Part of the repentance process is learning to change and make better choices.
Today let's work on seeking the Spirit, infusing goodness into our lives, and really focusing on who we want to be and what we are putting out into the world, because whether we are paying attention or not, that is what we are going to get back. Paying more attention and being more intentional with our lives, honoring God and serving other people, can teach us a lot, and make sure that we really know where we're going. :)
