"And it came to pass that they were angry with him, even because he had greater power than they, for it were not possible that they could disbelieve his words, for so great was his faith on the Lord Jesus Christ that angels did minister unto him daily."
3 Nephi 7:18
This is a good thing to be careful of... resisting things that we know to be true. Perhaps we can all relate to this... the truth isn't always easy to accept or understand. But when we know it is true, let's invest our time into understanding and learning to accept it rather than in fighting against it uselessly.
Let's be really careful of expecting God to conform to our will, or in investing ourselves in things that we can't have. That seems like the very definition of Hell... forever wanting, but never getting. Instead, let's work with God and walk his plan of happiness, where we can learn the happiness inherent in reality, and teach us what to look forward to that is so much better than what we want now.
