"Yea, we see that whosoever will may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked—

I really like the idea of cutting through snares of the devil here. Sometimes it seems like there are a lot of those, and Satan is working overtime to drag us down... but despite the traps and the troubles, God can lead us through and bring us safe to heaven. Nothing is too hard for the Lord. Today, let's pray about our troubles, ask for his help, and then trust him, and follow his instructions. As we turn to him, he can cut through the snares and help us find our way out of any trouble.
