"Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way."
Psalms 25:7-8
I like the idea here that God is willing to forgive our sins as we change and improve, and that (because of Christ's atonement), we don't have to be stuck in the "sins of [our] youth" forever.
Today, let's be thankful that the Lord is willing to teach us as sinners, and that perfection isn't required for prayer... so that there is hope for us all, and always a way to reach out to the Lord.
