"Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him."
Isaiah 3:10-11
This is interesting because it seems to be basically saying that everyone gets exactly what they have earned... what they worked for in their lives. And sometimes that is going to be a good thing, and sometimes that is going to be a bad thing, depending on who we are listening to and what we are seeking.
Today, let's trust God and seek his path to happiness, rather than trusting in ourselves to make that determination. If there is a coflict between those paths, ours is always going to result in something much less than God offers us.
