"And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you."
John 16:22
Sorrow is part of our mortal journey, and it is by definition a hard thing to wade through. The cool thing though is that, just like a promised land and a promised new, better life that we have in store, we have joy promised to us as well. Not just in eternity, as in this life, but even here in this life, God will help us to see the good and to find the joy that surpasses all human understanding... and that is just a taste of what is waiting for us later, if we continue to choose it by choosing God, trusting him and following his instructions to help us get back to him. Today, let's learn of him in the scriptures, and pray and learn more of his promises, and let's live what we learn.
