D&C 28:16 -- On the Joy of the Gospel of Christ

I love that rejoicing is part of preaching here... as it should be, it seems, because God is all about joy. I think sometimes we forget that, and think about the gospel as something of guilt and heaviness and entrapment, but it is none of those things. It is a message of joy and hope and freedom from the bondage and hopelessness of sin and self-deception. Today, let's remember the pure joy of the gospel of Christ and the hope that he offers all of us. :)
