"And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:
Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel."
Matthew 15:29-31
This is amazing. I think sometimes this healing gets overshadowed because after this is the miracle of the loaves and the fishes, which is of course also amazing, but not more miraculous. :) Wherever Christ went, he healed and helped. In following his example, these are things that we can also do... perhaps not as miraculously, but with God's help, we can still make a difference in other people's lives.
Today, let's look to God for the healing that we need, and also to help us know how we can help others.
