"Behold, O ye wicked and perverse generation, how have ye forgotten the tradition of your fathers; yea, how soon ye have forgotten the commandments of God.
Do ye not remember that our father, Lehi, was brought out of Jerusalem by the hand of God? Do ye not remember that they were all led by him through the wilderness?"
Alma 9:8-9
Another good reminder that the scriptures, and other things that the Lord gives us to enlarge our memories of the gospel, can help us stay on track... and help us get back on track if we've gotten derailed somewhere.
Today, let's remember the commandments and the scripture stories, and liken them to ourselves, remembering that the Lord is willing to lead us all through the wilderness and to our own promised place. Let's be diligent and faithful, and not let the world lull us into forgetfulness.
