"And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?"
Acts 3:12
I like how Peter deflects the observers from adoration of the people who used the priesthood to do a miracle here, and instead turns them to the source of the power. All of this comes from God, through his son Jesus Christ. Today, let's remember the source of the miracles in our lives and turn to God rather than any mortal, for our worship. God works through people, but he is the one we serve and the source of all we do. The reason the gospel works is that there is a perfect being in charge rather than all of us imperfect ones. :)
