"And it came to pass that after I had prayed and labored with all diligence, the Lord said unto me: I will grant unto thee according to thy desires, because of thy faith."
Enos 1:12
It's interesting here that Enos prays with many long strugglings and that that is the labor that he is referring to--labor in the spirit. I absolutely think that prayer takes real work, similar to an earthly relationship, but I think it unusual for us to think of prayer that way.
Today, let's take the time to think about the work that we are putting into prayer and our relationship with God. That is worthy and necessary effort, and probably deserves a little thought if we are going to learn to follow his path.
