The idea here that God still has a lot to say and reveal I think is an important one as far as understanding God and our relationship to him. It becomes more difficult to understand a lot of things about the universe if we think that we already have all the information we need. Just like scientific theory should be open to gaining new information that might shift the way we think about the universe, faith in God requires us to acknowledge that God knows more than we do, and therefore that we might learn new things about existence.
God isn't playing games with us. He tells us what we can understand and what we need to know for our own salvation... but there is still much, much more to come. Let's remember, and look forward to, that today. :)
