"I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live."
Psalms 116:1-2
This is interesting to me because it seems to be saying "I love the Lord because he listens to me." That's a powerful statement I think about how often we feel alone or misunderstood in our lives, and God is definitely the right place to turn when we feel that way.
Today, let's give thanks for the Lord, who listens to us, and who helps us every day... and let's take some time to return the favor as we call upon him in prayer. We can listen and learn to take his excellent advice.
