"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever."
Daniel 2:44
I like the idea here of God's kingdom triumphing over all others, and also the story behind it where Daniel was asked to tell the king not only the interpretation of the dream, but the dream itself that the king couldn't remember, and God granted him the same dream. It is a good reminder that God knows everything, including our thoughts and intentions.
Today, let's turn to the Lord who not only knows everything, but who is willing to help us with anything, and whose kingdom will stand forever. If we need one true certainty in the midst of all the madness, he is it. :) Let's be like Daniel and trust him with our lives.
