"For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.
Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good."
Job 34:3-4
In other parts of the scriptures we're asked to judge not, but here we're encouraged to judge. I think the difference is whether we are judging other people's value or choosing for ourselves what to believe and what not to believe. We definitely need to be discerning and watch out for falsehoods and deception as we move forward, but still refrain from condemning individuals, leaving that judgement to God.
Today, let's make wise decisions about our own lives and direction, while still attempting to allow others their individual choices, judging our direction, but not others' worth.
