Alma 38:14

"Do not say: O God, I thank thee that we are better than our brethren; but rather say: O Lord, forgive my unworthiness, and remember my brethren in mercy--yea, acknowledge your unworthiness before God at all times."
Alma 38:14

I think that we all feel unworthy at times... and I like this scripture in that context... God is saying, it's okay to feel unworthy.  It's basically just accepting reality. :)  Compared to God, we don't measure up.  The thing is, though... God is okay with that.  He knows that we are just little kids, and he is trying to help us grow up into incredibly cool adults.  Takes time... and a lot of mistakes.  So, it is a good thing to remember, when you are feeling unworthy... it's okay.  Keep trying anyway. :)  Then, of course, the main message of the scripture is good too... instead of thinking that we are cooler than everyone, we need to remember that ALL of us have problems... we are ALL little kids, and we are all learning, growing, trying... and it takes time and a lot of mistakes for ALL of us.  We shouldn't be going around picking on littler kids to make ourselves feel better, and we definitely shouldn't be actually believing that we are better than anyone.  If there is any competition going on here it is you against your best self, trying to measure up... we are here to help each other, not to drag each other down.  So... today, let’s remember that we are unworthy, but that it isn't a reason to hide from God.  And remember that we are all in this together. :)
