Thinking about this today... God is love, and encourages love always. Not that we shouldn't have boundaries, or stay away from abuse... but love is always the right choice. At work there are a lot of unfortunate "political" things going on, and I am always horrified at myself when I find that I am starting to intensely dislike some people. Sometimes it is a lot of work to love, and in abusive situations sometimes we need to learn to love and forgive from a distance. but whenever you start feeling resentment, hatred, or coldness towards someone... know that it isn't God that is inspiring those feelings. God is love, and he wants us to learn and grow and eventually be able to love anyone and everyone. It is another step towards becoming a Zion community... a society where we help and heal rather than hurt. Where we work together rather than take sides. Today, let's try to not get involved in the political struggles, and look for the good... I promise, it is there. :)
