Luke 24:32

"And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?"
Luke 24:32

This is cool, and I think it says a lot about things that we know on a subconscious level sometimes.  these men knew somewhere inside themselves that they were talking to the Lord, but they dismissed the feelings until afterward, and then thought back on the evidences that they had had.  How often do we do this in our lives?  We have a feeling that something is going to happen, but we dismiss it as silly, until it actually does.  we have opportunities to feel the spirit and to learn truth every day, but sometimes don't realize those things until we take time to look back at the week in church, or while writing in our journals... or maybe until some event forces us stop and think for a while.  And yes, it is easy to be confused by Satan, hard to know what is real inspiration, and what is paranoia. :)  But, perhaps, if we would concentrate a little more on living the moment that we are in, on being who we want to be right now.... on God and what he would like us to do today... maybe we'll catch a few more of those opportunities.  Maybe we'll know what the spirit is trying to say to us.
As with the men in this scripture, God walks with us on a daily basis... and as with the men in this scripture, we usually don't recognize it until afterward.  So, let's pay more attention today to what the spirit is trying to say to us... I'm sure there is a lot to be learned, in each of our lives, today. :)
