3 Nephi 27:25-26

"For behold, out of the books which have been written, and which shall be written, shall this people be judged, for by them shall their works be known unto men.
And behold, all things are written by the Father; therefore out of the books which shall be written shall the world be judged."
3 Nephi 27:25-26

How interesting... I can't imagine God writing.  It seems like he would just keep all the files in his brain, you know?  Or maybe have someone else write for him... but I suppose that it makes sense in a way... he talks to us all in our own language, and deals with us on our understanding level... so, if he writes things down, then he is helping us to see in actual physical fact, the record of our actions on the earth.  And you know... God is perfect, so what an amazing thing to be able to read perfect writing... :)  And I guess the scriptures are God's writing in a way... so we'll be judged according to what is in them.  Even a better reason to actually read them... so that we know what we are going to be measured by, right?  Maybe it'll help us to cram for the test. :)  (joking, by the way... I really don't think that this test is one you can cram for.)  And, this scripture is also a great reason to keep a journal... maybe we can tell *our* side of the story.  Which reminds me of a book by C. S. Lewis... _Till We Have Faces_ ... an excellent book in which the narrator is a woman who is writing *her* side of the story, because she thinks that the Gods have twisted things. :)  Anyway, let's remember to read God's writings today, and write some of our own. :)  Let's do some good stuff today, so that God can write it down. :)
